Cambodia - The Tonle

Training center for tourism and hospitality professions

Our partner in the field: Cambodian Rural Development Team (CRDT)
Location: Strung Trend and Kratie, Cambodia
Project duration: 2007 - 2013
Our mission

Le Tonlé, the first training center created by Tereo (Tourism for Help), opened in 2007 in Stung Treng, Cambodia. It is a hotel school with a training hotel-restaurant which, since its creation, has helped hundreds of young people to learn a trade and integrate into society and the economy. Tereo provided direct technical and financial support for the project during its first five years of operation, until it was taken over independently by its local partner, Cambodian Rural Development Team (CRDT). Since 2013, Le Tonlé has moved to Kratie, and today continues its training work.
