Our mission

The Nonvignon project aims to offer financial independence to members of vulnerable social groups in southern Benin - in particular young people and women - through skills training and individual support in their transition to working life. It relies on a vocational training center and a farm-school based in Grand-Popo, at the heart of a network of local partners. Supported locally by Eco-Bénin, the project combines technical and human learning, territorial anchoring, educational innovation and the development of sustainable agricultural sectors. By focusing on training in agro-ecology and the hotel and catering industry, it aims to ensure the sustainable integration of beneficiaries and contribute to the economic and social vitality of the region.

Training

Le Centre Nonvignon offers a 10-month training cycle, comprising 20% theory and 80% practice, leading to an attestation recognized by the Beninese government and giving access to the national certification exam for professional qualifications. Training alternates between intensive courses with instructors, supervised practical sessions, and real-life situations where learners provide pedagogical services for customers. Four streams are offered: hospitality, catering, agri-food processing and agro-ecology, systematically integrating sustainability and environmental protection issues to train competent, committed professionals.
